CAP Money Course

Christians Against Poverty is a national charity working through its network of centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth service.

In these days of credit cards and borrowing, buying now and paying later, it’s no wonder that so many people are struggling to control their finances. If this sounds like someone you know or you would just like an opportunity to hear about a simple money management system, then it’s a good idea to join a CAP Money Course, which has been developed by Christians Against Poverty

This course is offered locally, based at St. Margaret’s. It is a comprehensive, yet simple, money management course to help individuals gain control of their finances. It only involves a 2 hour session each week for 3 weeks. The course is entirely free and will provide a Money Management Pack and an on-line personal budgeting tool.

The course is not just for those who are struggling. If someone simply wants to manage money better, make it go further, make wiser choices about how to use money, and plan for a brighter financial future, then this short course will really help.

Over the 3 weeks participants learn the basic skills of money management and how to budget, learn to plan for expensive times like Christmas or holidays, and how to aim for a debt free future with less worry.

St. Margaret’s Church has qualified CAP Money Coaches who run this course here – if you would like to know more and/or enrol on the course then please contact one of the clergy or Duncan Stansfield in the first instance.

In addition to running the course at St Margaret’s we also support the CAP central administrative office based in Bradford by sending a donation from our missionary giving allocation.
